Every family deserves the resources and support they need to care for their children.
The Village Family Care Program provides practical, essential support to families experiencing a season of need. Through family care packages, financial sponsorships, and in-kind donations, our Village comes together to help families meet everyday needs with dignity and compassion.
What is the village Family Care program?
The Village Family Care Program was created to provide families with children access to essential items and resources during seasons when additional support can make a meaningful difference.
From welcoming a new baby to keeping growing children clothed, cared for, and equipped for everyday life, each package is designed to meet practical needs while allowing room to respond to the unique circumstances of each family.
Do You or Your Family Need Support?
The Village Family Care Program serves:
Families/households caring for at least one child
Expecting parents may qualify for the Newborn Package
Families experiencing a temporary or ongoing financial hardship
Families who demonstrate a current need for essential child or household support
Families within the geographic service area established by The Village Neighborhood
If you are an expecting parent, parent, or caregiver experiencing a financial hardship or temporary season of need, you may be eligible to receive support through the Village Family Care Program.
We understand that every family's circumstances are different. Requests are reviewed individually based on eligibility, current needs, available resources, and program capacity.
A few things to know:
Families must have at least one child in their care or be expecting a child.
Families must live within The Village Neighborhood's current service area.
Assistance is intended for families experiencing a current financial or practical need.
Standard assistance is generally limited to one package per household within a six-month period.
Exceptions may be considered for newborns, emergencies, or significant changes in family circumstances.
Completing a request does not guarantee assistance.

Unexpected childcare or child-related expenses
Families struggling to meet basic needs despite working/income

Designed for expecting parents and families welcoming a newborn.
Support may include essential newborn supplies, diapers, wipes, clothing, feeding supplies, baby hygiene items, blankets, and postpartum essentials.
Designed for families with school-aged children.
Support may include clothing, shoes, hygiene and personal-care items, school supplies, lunch or snack supplies, seasonal necessities, and age-appropriate items.
Designed for families with infants and toddlers.
Support may include diapers or pull-ups, wipes, clothing, shoes, hygiene products, snacks, developmental items, and other everyday necessities.
Designed to support a family of up to four with a customized collection of essential items.
Because every family's circumstances are different, this package allows The Village to respond to the family's most immediate needs. Support may include children's essentials, household supplies, pantry items, clothing, hygiene products, and other family-selected necessities.
